then crashes on ground!
We have been learning about haikus, it was challenging to count the sylables to fit it into the structure of 5-7-5. It was fun learning a style of poem from another country.
When i say Japan what does it make you think of?

Kia ora Sal, thank you for sharing your poem with us. You have done well to get the syllable count correct. Next time you publish a haiku, set it out so we can clearly see the three lines. Like this:

You can be proud of your writing. Kia pai tō rā. (Have a good day.)
Kia ora Sal, thank you for sharing your haiku poem on your blog. I am glad that you enjoyed learning a style of poetry from a different country. When I think of Japan I think of my trip there and being a passenger in the bullet trains. They travel at speeds between 200 - 320 km per hour. You don't feel like you are going that fast, but things outside the window definitely whizz past. What do you think of when you think of Japan?
ReplyDeleteHello Sal, I love your Haiku! Maybe you could add a image or something that matches your haiku!
ReplyDeleteBye!!!!
Hi buddy.
ReplyDeleteI love your haiku because it's interesting and descriptive.
