Kia ora it's sal.
This is my - do all volcanoes look the same and act the same?
This week i have been learning about volcanoes its been really fun but challanging and turns out the latest super volcano eruption was in Taupo, around 22,000 years ago!
Im guessing that must be Mt Ruapehu, last year we drove past it and me and my sisters had a snow ball fight on the desert road.
Have you been to Ruapehu or the volcano next to it - Ngarahoe?
Stay safe bloggers.
Blog you later. 🤪😝😜
Hi Sal
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your slide on your blog. The image on your last slide reminds me of a time I saw on the news how an erupting volcano had its own little weather system in it with lightning. It was very impressive, but a little scary too. Maybe it was a super volcano.
I have been skiing in the north island and tramping too were you can see these mountains. When you had a snowball fight, did you know at the time that Ngauruhoe and Ruapehu were volcanoes?
Kia Ora Sal
ReplyDeleteGreat work on your volcano project. I particularly like slide 3 because setting the information in a table makes it very clear to see if all volcanoes are the same (they're not!). Well done.
